Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, ca. 6th century BCE. A lovely pottery dish presenting a conical form with a pointed base and a circular rim that gently curves inward. A lustrous glaze displaying mottled hues of green, blue, and grey envelops the entirety of the vessel. Both the interior and exterior display 3 nubs from the stacked firing process. Size: 3.6" in diameter x 1.7" H (9.1 cm x 4.3 cm)

Provenance: private West Hollywood, California, USA collection; ex-private Minnesota, USA collection, acquired in the 1950s; ex-Charles Dikran Kelekian collection
