Description:

Ancient Egypt, Naqada III to Old Kingdom, ca. 3200 to 2181 BCE. A set of 2 hand-carved alabaster mace heads, one with an inverted bottle-shaped body and the other with an apple-shaped body. Each weapon is carefully drilled through the center to create a socketing shaft for mounting atop a lengthy wooden pole. Size of largest: 2.12" L x 2.15" W x 2.81" H (5.4 cm x 5.5 cm x 7.1 cm)
