Egypt, New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, 1332 - 1323 BCE. An important piece of King Tut's reign and his royal workshop, the terracotta mold was made to make royal seals. This example is a positive mold for the base of seals with hieroglyphs stating the king's name. Pieces from King Tutankhamun's reign are rare and very desirable. 1-1/4"L x 1"W.
