Egypt, 19th / 20th Dynasty, ca. 1292-1075 BCE. Decorated with a kneeling king adoring with raised arms an obelisk, emblem of Amun. Close to the king's red crown a vestigial winged uraeus for protection, the neb-hieroglyph in exergue. The king adoring Amun, the Lord, is a typical Ramesside motif.   • Condition: T-shaped incision on the back of the scarab and bordered wing-cases marked with tiny V-cuts. The forelegs notched. Scarab faded to tan color.
