Description:

Egypt, Late Dynastic, Dynasty 26, ca. 664 to 525 BCE. Remarkable and extremely rare brown-stone enthroned Osiris. In traditional mummiform pose, wearing atef crown and holding crook and flail over his chest. Size: 6.5" H (16.5 cm)

This very important example was exhibited at Kresge Art Gallery, Michigan State University, 1985 to 2002.
