Description:

Ancient. Egypt, New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, ca. 1550 to 1293 BCE. A fashionable necklace strung in modern times with forty-two tube-shaped faience beads, twenty-nine small disc-shaped spacer beads, a brass clasp, and a substantial terracotta heart scarab. The scarab has a finely-detailed shell, stylized legs, and a small head.
