Ancient Egypt, Third Intermediate to Late Dynastic Period, 21st to 31st Dynasty, ca. 1070 to 332 BCE. A hand-carved stone scarab of a petite size. The top exhibits stylized insectile features like legs tucked beneath the folded wing carapace, and the underside presents a diamond-shaped motif. Size: 0.8" W x 1.1" H (2 cm x 2.8 cm); 1.375" H (3.5 cm) on included custom stand.
