Ancient Seas, North America, ca. 400 to 7 million years ago. A dazzling bracelet constructed with modern sterling silver as well as a plethora of fossilized marine life. Displayed within form-fitting bezels, the bracelet presents 2 polished ammonite halves in shades of brown, beige, and tan, 2 dark gray fern fragments, a pair of round-topped sea urchins with shallow, petaloid cavities along the topsides, and a vibrant fragment of Utah red horn coral. This accessory is made wearable via a toggle clasp and a series of ringlets that allow the sizing to be adjusted. Size (bracelet): 8" L x 0.75" W (20.3 cm x 1.9 cm); (largest ammonite): 0.75" W x 1" H (1.9 cm x 2.5 cm); sterling silver quality: 92.5% or higher; total weight: 54.5 grams

  • Condition: Wearable as shown and constructed in modern times. Ammonites, fern fragments, sea urchins, and red horn coral are all ancient; sterling silver components are modern. Minor nicks and abrasions to marine fossils commensurate with age, otherwise intact and very good. Marine fossils are nicely prepared and attractive with their natural coloration.
