Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A set of 5 hand-built pottery figures, each standing atop delineated legs and peering forward with coffee-bean-shaped eyes. The 4 beige-hued figures present with arms held neatly in front of their abdomens, and the largest, red-hued female figure presents nude with arms out to her sides. Size of largest: 0.95" L x 3.34" W x 6.31" H (2.4 cm x 8.5 cm x 16 cm)

  • Condition: One beige-hued figure with losses to tip of nose and frontal panel of skirt as shown; remaining 4 figures are intact. Each with minor earthen deposits and softening to some finer details, and light fading to pigment, otherwise in great condition. Nice preservation to overall forms.
