A part of a mammoth femur, found in Florida, which during the Pleistocene was a savannah, with herds of mammoth, bison, horses, and antelopes roaming around the peninsula. This example shows the structure of the fossilized bone very nicely, giving us an idea of the living animal. Size: 5.5" W x 9" H (14 cm x 22.9 cm)
