Description:

North Africa, Morocco & North America, United States, Montana, Cretaceous to Miocene period, ca. 112 to 23 million years ago. An assorted collection of fossilized teeth and bone fragments from prehistoric dinosaurs and a possible Miocene-era sperm whale. The largest specimen has mineralized into a gray stone matrix, with worn layers revealing the striated tooth within, likely a whale tooth. The long, slender tooth is attributed to Spinosaurus, among the largest carnivorous dinosaurs. The broad, triangular tooth is attributed to Carcharodontosaurus. The bone fragment housed in the small acrylic box was collected in Montana and identified as Tyrannosaurus rex. Size of largest: 3.75" L x 1.5" W (9.5 cm x 3.8 cm)

  • Condition: Both dinosaur teeth are repaired with hairline fissures. Fossils show expected surface erosion, small chips, and matrix loss, including layered wear to the largest specimen that reveals the tooth structure within. The Montana bone fragment is stable and preserved in a protective acrylic box.
