A charming oil on canvas by French folk artist Maria Clemence Bubnic, this work captures the warmth and rhythm of village life against a crisp winter landscape. Under a pale sky glowing with sunset hues, clusters of birds wheel across the horizon while villagers go about their daily routines: couples walk along snow-laden paths, a horse-drawn cart moves steadily through the street, and children play near rustic cottages topped with heavy drifts of snow.
