Description:

Ancient Seas, ca. 2 million years ago. A fabulous example of a Megalodon tooth that has developed glossy shades of black, grey, and brown through the process of fossilization. Many of the individual serrations are still visible and, though some of the serrated edges of the tooth are worn down, many are still finely preserved with an incredibly sharp texture. The upper enamel portion displays dozens of striations and areas of light roughness, which are two additional results of fossilization. A beautiful example from one of the ancient seas' most ferocious hunters! Size: 4.4" W x 5.25" H (11.2 cm x 13.3 cm); 5.2" H (13.2 cm) on included custom stand.
