Description:

Ancient Greece, Hellenistic period, ca. 3rd to 2nd century BCE. A dazzling and quite rare Hellenistic ring, carved from a single piece of translucent, pale green glass to feature a broad hoop with a D-shaped cross section and beveled edges. The thick hoop broadens to a large, ovoid bezel with a concave face and a raised rim that slopes outwards. The bezel would have been decorated with an inlay, probably also in glass, imitating a gem. Size: 1.1" L x 1.2" W x 1.5" H (2.8 cm x 3 cm x 3.8 cm); 2.8" H (7.1 cm) on included custom stand; US ring size: 6

Our shippers of choice are DHL for International shipments and UPS for domestic shipments, but we are able to ship via other carriers at the buyer's expense as deemed necessary or by request.

For shipments of oversize items, Artemis Gallery will assist the buyer in working with a third-party shipping provider. For shipments outside of the USA, customs and duties may apply upon entry into said country, and this fee, if any, is the buyer's responsibility.
