Magna Graecia, South Italic Colonies, Campania, Neapolis, ca 320 to 275 BCE. A stunning and unique pendant made from an ancient Greek coin and set in a modern silver setting as a wearable pendant. The coin is a Greek AR (silver) Didrachm minted in Neapolis (Naples), Campania, dating to 320-275 BCE, with a silver quality of 96%. The obverse with diademed head of nymph facing right and the reverse with man-headed bull walking right; above, Nike flying right, placing wreath on bull's head. The modern 99% silver setting was made by a Las Vegas jeweler and comes with a modern cord and is ready to wear, the pendant could easily be strung on a chain to customize the look and fit! Size of pendant: 1.3" L x 1.3" W (3.3 cm x 3.3 cm); cord: 21" L (53.3 cm); silver quality: 96% to 99.17%; weight: 40 grams
