A beautiful gold nose ring possibly with a copper core created by the ancients of Panama, captivating for its brilliant shimmer and hue, as well as a form that demonstrates sophisticated gold working technique and artistry. In the Pre-Columbian world gold jewelry not only represented the wearer's elite social status, but also had sacred connotations as the yellow hues were associated with the sun and the celestial realm.
