Holyland, Ancient Middle East. Bronze Age, ca. 1550 - 1200 B.C. Two different pottery examples, including a Bronze Age small pyxis, having a squat body with a wide shoulder. Red-brown painted linear and squiggle decoration. Opposing perforated lug handles, short collar neck. Some ancient loss to the neck rim, and two minor ancient base rim flakes and some loss to the collar rim, otherwise intact. Together with a Bronze Age juglet, having a applied loop handle, tapered bulbous body and slightly flared lip. Red-brown painted bands of squiggly snake-like decoration. Handle reattached, with break line left visible, and a small shallow ancient lip flake. Scattered losses to the painted decoration. Juglet leans slightly to one side. Size: 3-3/8"H. 6-1/8"H.
