Native American, Southwestern United States, Hopi tribe, Second Mesa, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A hand-woven basketry bowl of broad and shallow form decorated with rings of black, red, green, yellow, and white pigments. The threads in the center of the basin as well as the opposite side on the verso overlap each other to create a raised band on each side. Size: 11.25" Diameter x 2.6" H (28.6 cm x 6.6 cm)
