An impressive sterling silver (92.5%) Latin cross of a very large scale, possibly a processional cross, with fleur-di-lis like termini, the entire form created from six joined sections, the intricate decorative program featuring foliage, floral, and shell inspired motifs rendered via traditional techniques used since the Colonial era. A brilliant example, perfect for anyone who appreciates Spanish Colonial devotional art. Precious metal quality: 92.5%, so sterling silver. Weight: 2.2 lbs. Size: 22.875" L x 17.625" W (58.1 cm x 44.8 cm); silver is ~ .0625" thick (.16 cm).
