Description:

Burma, very, very old, created during the formation of Southeast Asia when two of earth's plates collided and the lower plate took the necessary minerals to great depths and heat to create jade. Huge natural stone "nugget" weighing an incredible 50 pounds. At some point in its life it appears a carver or workshop started the process of cutting it into smaller pieces for creation of jewelry or other carvings. One area created from this process has dettachedand been reattached. This has been sitting in the garden of Mr. Arnovick for decades creatiing a lovely washed patina.
