Near East, Northwestern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1200 to 1000 BCE. Very large spear head with wide blade and rectangular blood ridge, blade tapering slightly as it nears the insertion tang and two sweeping side flanges (one now missing). Size: 20.6" L x 2.4" W (52.3 cm x 6.1 cm)

Provenance: Ex-Estate of John Piscopo. Mr. Piscopo was an expert in ancient weaponry and amassed one of the largest collections of ancient weapons in the US.
