Description:

Pre-Columbian, Peru, Inca culture, ca. 1400 CE. High karat gold (unfortunately the design of this piece makes it difficult to test for exact karats) llama head (once from a full-bodied figure and then found attached to an early 20th century stick pin), attached to a silver encasement which is drilled to allow the insertion of a necklace or cord. Will make a wonderful statement when worn! Size: 1.125" W x 1.125" H (2.9 cm x 2.9 cm). Total weight 14.9 grams.
