Description:

Native American, Northwest Coast, Alaska, Inuit, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. Carved from a single piece of walrus ivory! The ovoid ring is low relief carved with a tusked walrus on one side and a seal on the other. Remains of a red and black pigment highlight the incised lines of their flippers and faces. This could certainly be used today as intended! Size: 2.5" L x 0.125" W x 1.125" H (6.4 cm x 0.3 cm x 2.9 cm)

This is an ESA antique exempt piece of ivory and cannot be sold internationally or to anyone residing in the states of California, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington. We guarantee that the piece was made prior to 1972.
