Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, San Juanito, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A standing female figure, nude except for a banded headdress, long feather-like earrings, applied double armbands, shoulder pellets, and red painted foot/leg coverings. Figures of this type with an elongated somewhat tubular head and slit eyes have been attributed to cemeteries in the region of San Juanito, municipio of Antonio Escobedo, approximately fifty miles west of Guadalajara (Jose Parres Arias, "Nuevas adquisiciones del Museo de Arqueologia."
