**Originally Listed At $350**

Roman, late Imperial Period to early Byzantine, ca. 4th to 6th century CE. A charming and well-preserved dimpled glass sprinkler flask, free-blown into a rounded body with a short cylindrical neck that flares into a wide, funnel-shaped mouth. The surface is adorned with evenly spaced dimples, providing both aesthetic texture and grip. While the flask appears nearly black in ambient light, when illuminated it reveals a luminous pinkish-purple hue. These sprinkler flasks, used to dispense precious oils, perfumes, or holy water in controlled amounts, were common personal and liturgical objects throughout the eastern Mediterranean. Size: 3" Diameter x 3" H (7.6 cm x 7.6 cm)
