North America, Native American, Southeastern US, Eastern Woodland peoples, ca. 500 to 1500 CE. A lovely ensemble of eighteen knapped-stone arrowheads in varying sizes and forms. Most of the arrowheads are beige in color, though some exhibit hues of slate gray with mottled inclusions, light orange, smoky white, and one in semi-translucent quartz. Eleven of the points have stylized tails, though the remaining seven do not; each also has sharp edges comprised of minute knapped serrations. A beautiful collection for any aficionado of Native American stonework! Size of largest: 2.875" L (7.3 cm).

Provenance: ex-Kurquhill's Gallery, El Paso, Texas, USA; ex-private El Paso, Texas, USA collection, acquired early to mid 1970s. All items purportedly found in Texas.
