Ancient Greece, Cyprus, Cypro-Geometric II to III, ca. 900 to 750 BCE. A set of 2 wheel-thrown pottery vessels from ancient Cyprus. First is a petite bottle with an elongated acorn-shaped body, a tapered neck, and a splayed rim, all decorated with slender black rings. The larger flask is of broad, spherical form with a protruding foot, a spool-form neck, and a thick rim, all displaying remains of red-brown pigment. Size of largest: 5" W x 6.125" H (12.7 cm x 15.6 cm)
