Description:

**First Time At Auction**

South Pacific, Hawaiian Islands, ca. late 20th to early 21st century CE. A beautiful bowl of a petite size, hand-carved from elegantly grained Koa wood and featuring a flat bottom, a rounded base, and a thin rim overhanging its deep basin. The smooth exterior walls have been meticulously polished to imbue as much depth to the graining as possible and to bring out the fine tones of coffee, caramel, and espresso. A very charming example! Size: 2.7" W x 2.5" H (6.9 cm x 6.4 cm)
