Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A beautiful rod-form pendant carved from pale sage-green jadeite with milky white inclusions. The pendant exhibits a meticulously-smooth and sanded surface as well as sharp edges and a biconically-drilled suspension hole on the bottom. The top of the pendant is set within a modern sterling silver (96%) cap featuring a gorgeous tourmaline cabochon inside a circular bezel. A V-shaped suspension loop along the top enables the wearability of this gorgeous accessory! Modern necklace cord included. Size: 0.55" W x 3.125" H (1.4 cm x 7.9 cm); quality of sterling silver: 96%.

  • Condition: Pendant assembled in modern times and wearable as shown. Jadeite pendant is ancient, and sterling silver and tourmaline are modern. Jadeite pendant has minor abrasions, with nicks and light adhesive residue along top end. Sterling silver cap has small indentations.
