Description:

Maya regions, ca. 500 - 800 CE. Large natural conch shell trumpet with an ancient sanded smooth surface, and two drilled suspension/attachment holes along the lower rim. Size: 13.25”L x 7”W (33.7 x 17.8cm).

Provenance: Collection of Palmer “Kit” Carson, IL., acquired 1999 from Sid Sheffield, acquired 1970’s.
