Description:

Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A hand-built and highly burnished cylinder vase with gently convex walls, a planar base, and a thick rim surrounding the deep basin. Decorating the exterior are 2 black-hued arches and 2 red-hued, round-tipped panels, each outlined in white, that are perhaps a minimalist and abstract floral motif. Size: 5.5" Diameter x 6.1" H (14 cm x 15.5 cm)
