Lovely bowl with pedestal base, an impressive form as well as stylized geometric motifs on both bowl and pedestal created with the Narino artisan's signature negative resist technique in black and iron rich red pigment. Nice manganese blooms on inner face of pedestal. 4-1/2" H. Provenance: Ex-J. Gonzalez private collection, Pennsylvania, acquired in 1980s.
