**Originally Listed At $100**

Native American, US Southwest, Arizona, Phoenix Basin, Hohokam culture, ca. 1100 to 1400 CE. A large hand-built terracotta bowl with a near-flat base, tall walls, a deep interior cavity, and a thin rolled rim. The highly-burnished exterior displays hundreds of fine vertical striations which, when coupled with the lustrous red-orange color, is the inspiration behind the 'onion skin' name. The interior of the vessel has a glossy black hue, providing for a nicely-contrasting appearance. Size: 7.5" W x 4.25" H (19 cm x 10.8 cm).
