Pre-Columbian, South Coast of Peru, Nazca culture, ca. 200 to 500 CE. A hand-built pottery vessel with an undecorated white-ground lower body and a red-ground upper body adorned with a procession of 8 left-facing birds, perhaps the Puna tinamou (Tinamotis pentlandii, also Pentland's tinamou). Size: 5.3" L x 5.6" W x 4.125" H (13.5 cm x 14.2 cm x 10.5 cm)
