Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 26th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 664 to 332 BCE. A mold-made faience ushabti standing mummiform atop fused legs with arms folded at the chest and holding a pick and a hoe. A false beard extends downward from the minimalist visage, which is framed by a tripartite wig. Size: 0.9" W x 3" H (2.3 cm x 7.6 cm); 4.1" H (10.4 cm) on included custom stand.
