Classical World, Greek or possibly Bactrian, ca. 1st millennium BCE. A collection of dozens of antelope teeth and grey-blue glass beads on a modern cord, forming a wearable piece of ancient art centered around a bell-shaped glass pendant. Most glass beads have swirls of brown or black glass on their surfaces, while a few are a brighter blue with sparkling rainbow iridescent patina. Length of strand: 18.5" L (47 cm); size of pendant: 0.5" W x 0.75" H (1.3 cm x 1.9 cm)
