Native American, Northwestern United States, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Plateau Tribes, Nez Perce / Yakama, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A beaded textile purse with a deer standing in a landscape that is entirely made with thousands of tiny glass seed beads! The verso of the bag is made from teal corduroy, lined with cotton fabric, and hide tassels with glass beads dangle from the edge. This lady’s bag is in great condition with tight, intact beadwork! Size w/ tassels: 22" L x 11.75" Diameter (55.9 cm x 29.8 cm)
