Description:

Bactria-Margiana, modern day central Asia, ca. 2nd millennium BCE. A pair of stone beads, one made from rock crystal and the other from a smoothed, creamy-yellow river cobble. The rock crystal bead is teardrop shaped, with a hole drilled near the top for suspension. The other bead has a loop carved near its narrowest point, presumably to loop a thread or strand of leather around for wearing. Size of largest: 1.1" W x 3.1" H (2.8 cm x 7.9 cm)
