Ancient Greece, Hellenistic Period, ca. 3rd to 1st century BCE. A stunning pair of ancient gold earrings, crafted from molded sheets of gold folded into a hollow tubular shape with a textured surface resembling twisted rope. The tapered ends form a thin wire that originally served as the hook for the earlobe but have since been fitted with modern 14K gold-plated sterling silver ear wires, making them wearable while preserving their historic charm. Size of hoop: 0.75" Diameter (1.9 cm); length w/ hook: 1.2" L (3 cm); gold quality: 78% to 80% (equivalent to 18K+ to 19K+); silver quality: 18% to 24%; combined weight: 3 grams

Our shippers of choice are DHL for International shipments and UPS for domestic shipments, but we are able to ship via other carriers at the buyer's expense as deemed necessary or by request.

For shipments of oversize items, Artemis Gallery will assist the buyer in working with a third-party shipping provider. For shipments outside of the USA, customs and duties may apply upon entry into said country, and this fee, if any, is the buyer's responsibility.
