Central Asia, Iran, Persia / Islamic culture, Qajar to Pahlavi era, ca. 1920s to 1930s CE. A lovely and unused wooden and paper photo album, the lacquered wood covered hand painted with arabesque and cartouche motifs - at the center are men on horseback. The large panels are bound with cloth covered cardboard and a cord. The 18 pages are blank and most still have the tissue paper that would have protected the photos. Size: 16.5" L x 9.5" W (41.9 cm x 24.1 cm)
