Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A delicate bottle of slender form with a cylindrical body, a sloped shoulder that tapers to a narrow neck, and a flared, in-folded rim. The body was formed in a patterned mold to create shallow ribs that course diagonally across the exterior surfaces to create a soft, textured feel. Areas of rainbow iridescence have formed across the composition, and the base has developed incredibly lustrous golden iridescence. Size: 1.2" W x 2.6" H (3 cm x 6.6 cm)
