Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A free-blown glass dish and sprinkler flask, both formed from glass of surprising durability. The dish is shallow with a raised lip, and the sprinkler flask has a petite mouth to restrict the unabated flow of its contents. Size of largest (sprinkler flask): 2.875" W x 4.5" H (7.3 cm x 11.4 cm)

  • Condition: Sprinkler flask has age-commensurate surface wear, light roughness across most surfaces, and some minor encrustations, otherwise intact and very good. Light earthen deposits across all exterior surfaces, and scattered areas of nice rainbow iridescence. Dish has chipping to rim and some nicks and scratches to surface. Otherwise, intact and excellent with nice iridescence.
