Panama, Coclé region, ca. 300 BCE to 800 CE. The first is a shallow bowl with a polychrome design, decorated head and tail of a saurian, accompanied by an undecorated redware dish with feet. Size: Bowl measures 6”L x 4-1/4”W x 2-1/2”H; dish measures 4-1/2”L x 3”W x 1-1/2”H. Provenance: Ex-private Rousseau collection acquired before 1984.   • Condition: Bowl intact and in good condition with clear decorative artwork. Some wear to the paint on the bottom and a single chip from the lip. Dish in fair condition with clear shaping marks. One end has been repaired and has a small (1/32” diameter) hole in it.
