Pre-Columbian, Central Coast Peru, Chancay culture, ca. 1000 to 1470 CE. This bulbous, round-bottomed black-and-cream-hued terracotta vessel features a spherical body, a single attached handle, a wide flared mouth, rolled rim, and abstract painted geometric designs throughout. The front of the vessel has two wing-shaped protrusions on either side of three raised nub-shaped additions. Size: 3.625" L x 3.5" W x 4.875" H (9.2 cm x 8.9 cm x 12.4 cm)
