Four Spondylus shell pendants, two perforated on one end to hang vertically, two perforated to hang horizontally. Measure up to 3 7/8" long. Some shell loss and incrustation, overall good condition. Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Shaft tomb area, Ca 300 BCE to 300 CE. Large burnished pottery ear spool. 1 3/8" in diameter. Minor nicks, muddy with roots clinging to inner walls, overall good condition. Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima culture, Ca 300 BCE to 1300 CE. Grooved stone axe with flared bit. Rare style. 4 1/2" long. Very minor chip to bit, overall good condition. Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Shaft Tomb area, Ca 300 BCE to 300 CE. Carved white shell pendant in the form of a jaguar or crocodile tooth. 2 1/2" long. Minor wear and losses, overall good condition. Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Tarascan culture, Ca 1000 CE to 1500 CE. Copper bell with stone clapper. Makes a lovely jingle! 1 1/4" long. Some metal loss and expected oxidation. Overall fair condition. Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Tarascan culture, Ca 1000 CE to 1500 CE. Copper artifacts of various types and lengths. Damaged and encrusted, poor condition, decent study group. Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Shaft Tomb area, Ca 300 BCE to 300 CE. Six greenstone bead, variegated and of varying translucency. Measure up to 1 7/8" wide. All show wear and losses, interesting study group Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Nayarit, Ca 300 BCE to 1300 CE. Grey stone discoidal. Possibly a polishing stone. 1 1/2" wide, 1" thick. Very good condition.
