Native American, Southwestern USA, Colorado or New Mexico, Anasazi / Ancestral Puebloans, ca. 1100 to 1300 CE. A white-ground pottery jar formed via the Puebloan coil-and-scrape technique to have a spherical body, a cylindrical neck, and a strap handle on the verso. Elaborate zigzag and linear motifs course across the exterior surfaces, hand-painted with black pigment. Size: 5.5" Diameter x 6" H (14 cm x 15.2 cm)
