Native American, Southwestern United States, central Arizona to the Rio Grande Valley, New Mexico, Salado culture, ca. 1275 to 1450 CE. A pottery bowl formed via the traditional coil-and-scrape technique with a densely corrugated exterior redware surface. The rim as well as the basin surfaces are covered with glossy black pigment that stands out nicely from the russet-hued exterior. Size: 4.7" W x 2.9" H (11.9 cm x 7.4 cm)
