A lovely section of a muñeca mantle woven by the proto-Nazca comprised of ten muñeca (Spanish for doll) figures, each with long sweeping brown hair and stylized bodies surrounded by a remarkably long 'frame' of abstract visages - all of camelid yarns of varying hues including red, blue, gold, green, and brown. Look closely and you will see that the muñecas are all holding hands! Mounted on rich chocolate brown museum-quality linen in a lucite box frame.
