Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom / Third Intermediate Period, ca. 1550 to 712 BCE. A graceful wooden headrest, the wood aged to a warm burnt orange color, featuring a flat base, a thin leg, and a crescent-shaped upper part for placing the head.
