Description:

Ancient Greece, Geometric Period, ca. 7th century BCE. A hefty bracelet, cast from bronze and of wearable form, with offset terminals that nearly touch. The ovoid accessory features a tall midrib as well as dramatically flared ends, with intricate linear and concentric circle motifs engraved along the lower areas of each end. Smooth layers of green and turquoise-hued patina have developed over the centuries and imbue the bracelet with a presentation evocative of the Classical world. Size: 4.3" W x 4.2" H (10.9 cm x 10.7 cm); (wrist opening): 3.3" W x 3" H (8.4 cm x 7.6 cm)
